We have entered Conference Tournament week, the prelude to the "Big Dance"! Don't delay to join our annual NCAA Tournament - March Madness Pool. If you were unable to attend our Trivia Night and if you haven't heard, we are running our annual Friends for Friends NCAA March Madness pool again this year.

FfF Trivia Night 2014 went off without a hitch. Doors opened at 6:00pm and by a little after 7:00 we were underway. A night of testing your knowledge with old friends was quickly underway. A combination of pop culture, local lore and current events gave the teams of 10 all that they could handle.

Your Friends for Friends Executive Board met recently and approved a donation for a young mother who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor just two weeks after giving birth to her third child.

Membership renewal for 2014 is officially underway! You can renew your membership through PayPal or mail your check -- made payable to Friends for Friends-- to 105 Cardinal Dr., Conshohocken, PA 19428. Membership dues are still just $50.

I wanted to take a moment to inform you that your Friends for Friends (FfF) executive board met last month and approved the dispersal of $2,000.00 in funds for two area families dealing with their own very personal crisis.

Thanks to the faithful generosity of our ever-expanding Friends for Friends family, these last several months your FfF executive team has been able to put the funds raised from our regular events and the income from our 2013 membership dues to excellent use. We have been able to help several families in crisis in our area.

Despite the Phillies disappointing shut-out by the Reds, Friends for Friends came out for the tailgate party and everyone had a good time...and are looking forward to next year!
