$2,000.00 Given to Families in Need

I wanted to take a moment to inform you that your Friends for Friends (FfF) executive board met last month and approved the dispersal of $2,000.00 in funds for two area families dealing with their own very personal crisis.

The first donation in the amount of $1,000.00 went to a man to help with his out-of-pocket medical expenses for colon cancer treatment. 

The second donation, also in the amount of $1,000.00, went to a young man who was diagnosed this year with ALS. He is in the early stages of this insidious disease and we ask you to bolster this contribution with your prayers that he will have the strength to endure. The FfF donations to these two men represent your generosity and concern for the struggles of our neighbors in need.
