FfF Gives Special Gifts This Holiday Season
We hope this note finds you well and ready to enjoy with family and friends all of the Blessings this Christmas season will bring.
Your Friends for Friends (FfF) Executive Board met last week and approved four nominations to assist area families with the challenging financial realities that hang over them from dealing with medical issues, and in some cases, mourning the loss of a loved one.
Donations of $1,500.00 each went to a family of four children who lost their loving father to a massive stroke; and to a family who lost their beloved son after a long, courageous battle with a rare cancer.
The third donation of $1,500.00 went to help a woman with her medical expenses related to her decades-long illness.
And our fourth donation was in the amount of $2,000.00, thanks to a special gift from a generous FfF member, to help brighten the Christmas of two small children, who recently lost their Dad and are being raised by their grandparents.
In Memoriam
I am sorry to have to tell you that Friends for Friends lost one of its charter members and most loyal supporters, Jean Ann Vogelman.
Jean and her husband, Darren, were, and always will be, a vital part of the spirit and success of FfF. Please keep the Vogelman family in your prayers.

Annual Dues
We will once again be keeping our annual dues at $50.00....Your executive committee would like to thank the people who have already sent in their dues for 2016, and to remind those who haven’t yet, to please do so at your earliest convenience by mailing a check to the address below, or visiting the membership page on our website at: www.fffcharity.com/membership and paying though PayPal.
Please note that our ability to continue to serve more families in our area every year is directly related to our expanding membership... Please continue to talk up the good work of Friends for Friends and bring more people into our organization that is dedicated to helping our neighbors in need.
20th Anniversary Social Coming Feb. 6
And finally, save the date for our very special 20th anniversary social...The big event is set for February 6th in the new year at Cardinal O’Hara and will feature two very popular bands, along with a chance to gather once again with great friends. More information for follow.
