Winter Nominations

Because of your continued generous spirit, Friends for Friends was able to make it a more joyous Christmas for three area families. Your FfF Executive Board approved donations of $1,000 each so that the parents could provide a few more presents for their children on Christmas morning.

Please take a moment to read a thank you note from a young girl named Layla expressing her appreciation for our donation.

In new business, your Board met recently and approved two nominations.

The first donation was in the amount of $5,000 and went to a family whose home was destroyed in a fire that also injured several members.

The second donation was in the amount of $1,000 to aid a family in crisis with a father out of work while recovering from a couple of major surgeries.

2019 Annual Dues

I also want to take a moment to thank those who have paid their dues ($50.00) for the new year. Please keep in mind that you can mail a check, made payable to Friends for Friends, or you can renew your membership using PayPal.

I also want to remind everyone that tickets are on sale for our Winter Social on February 2, featuring the legendary Jerry Blavat at Cardinal O’Hara. Tickets are $50 each, but a reserved table of 10 is reduced to $450. Any available tickets sold at the door will be $60.
