Thanksgiving Nominations
Embracing the generosity of its members, the FFF Executive Board met recently and approved four nominations, each in the amount of $2,500.
The first donation went to a father who is battling the devastating issues of brain cancer. The second donation went to a family with a three-year old child diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy. The third donation went to a Mother fighting a very aggressive form of breast cancer. And the fourth donation went to a young single Mother of four who may need a bone marrow transplant to win her battle with Leukemia.
The Executive Board can speak for all of its members by saying that our hearts go out to these four families.
And thank you for being such a valued part of our extended Friends for Friends family. Your willingness to share your Blessings to help others in a time of great hardship extends the spirit of the November holiday throughout the entire year.
This thank you cannot be overstated. Our members have dedicated their time to let our neighbors know that they are not alone in their personal moments of great challenge. So many donation recipients write to thank Friends for Friends for the financial assistance and to express a sense of renewed strength because of this thoughtful gesture.
