The Spirit of Christmas 2009

I wanted to bring you up to date on our most recent donations. In the spirit of Christmas, Friends for Friends helped family whose mother lost her battle of cancer and left behind three children ages seven, nine, and thirteen.  To help with some of the burden and expenses during Christmas FfF donated $1,500.00.

The second donation was for a young man who needed root canal.  The insurance would not cover the full cost of the procedure. His mother is currently working part time and his father is serving his second tour in Iraq.  To help eliminate his pain, FfF donated $700.00 the remaining portion of the bill.  We are happy to report that he has an appointment set for next week.

Our Trivia Night is scheduled for March 13, 2010.  Start getting your tables together.  It is a good night out! There will be more information to follow.
