'A Night With Jerry Blavat' was a Huge Success

We wanted to take a moment to thank you and everyone who contributed to making our recent winter social – A Night With Jerry Blavat – a huge success!

We had another enthusiastic turnout for the legendary D.J., known to many as, “The Geator with the Heater.” We welcomed a few newcomers and hope they will become members of our Friends for Friends family.

Of course, events like our winter social would not be possible without the dedicated ensemble of volunteers who helped staff the food, bar and raffle areas, and the many other selfless individuals who always work behind the scenes.

It is because of your consistently generous spirit that we were able to bring in more than $100,000 last year and assist 34 families.

And we're proud to report that to date we have raised over $1.9 million. Our sights are now set on hitting the two-million dollar mark so that our outreach can expand to lend a helping hand to more people who find themselves in a medical and/or financial crisis.

Last but not least, we would like to congratulate Tim Malloy who won the Friends for Friends award this year, congratulations Tim.
