FfF executive board met on Feb 16th

On a Friends for Friends business note, the FfF executive board met on Feb 16th and approved the dispersal of $4,000.00 in funds to three families dealing with challenging circumstances.

The first nomination of $1,000 went to a family whose father is waging a courageous battle against cancer.

The second donation of $1,000 went to a family with an infant who is suffering from HLHS, a rare congenital heart defect.  The newborn is awaiting open heart surgery.

The third donation was in the amount of $2,000.00 and went to a family who lost nearly all of their possessions in a devastating house fire.  This family has been a charter member of FfF and is a valued member, contributor and supporter of our efforts, so we are honored to be able to help in a small way to get them back on their feet.

Our good thoughts and prayers go out to these three families.
