2011 Golf Outing Success

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who took part in last month's Friends for Friends golf outing. Last month's event was our 14th straight year on the links and it was another rewarding day.

Thanks to the generous support of our golfers and hole sponsors we raised over $12,500 (which is an FfF golf outing record) that will help fund our donation plans for the coming months.
 
While the list is long of those responsible for making the FfF day of golf a huge success, I would like to offer a special thanks to Jimmy Martin, Karen Mitchell, Byron Leach, Jim Dougherty, Karen Hendrick and Judy Culbertson who did a terrific job handling the raffle holes.

It's because of everyone's consistent and generous efforts that we are able to help ease the burdens of our neighbors who are dealing with sudden or long-term hardships.
